Some so-called   christian   denominations even sanctified the rottenness.   Why do so many of these white birds of preying on people of color flock together?   Never a decade where the chains were not on, or White backlash was not meting out its conscious, and subconscious bias, societal concussions. There is something about protecting White turf, so deeply corrupted that it comes out as rude, vile, and hateful racism. Worse yet, the atrocious   justification   for spewing such hate is deeply rooted in White culture, and the racist policies and practices it has feathered its bed with. Harvard professor Henry L. Shoot, my   dad fought antisemitism   during WWII, and racism in the 1960s and 1970s, and ableism until his death. As a white person, I am too proud to see racism in myself, and that makes me   feel   superior.   Characteristically , it allows me to hold onto my white privilege without feeling guilty. . By ignoring the telltale signs of hubris, I can be anything I think I am. This is where white people are   definitely   superior than others. Not seeing what is on the tip of our noses provides the bliss we ignorantly crave. And if you have seen my nose, you would know how my difficulty stretches into a whole new realm.   But please do not think this is just some drawn out Pinocchio caricature. Although for this essay, I thought about compiling a list of our “Constitutional”   transgressions   that are legion, and lesion. Yet, I will only note some from the first half of the 1800s. .
